Looking for some help. I have seen a demo model for an ELNA 8300 embroidery machine. Unfortunately I did not have time to look properly. First of all do any Cuties have this machine and can tell me a little about it. If I were to get another machine I would have to have a larger hoop than 4x4. Thank you in advance. Sarah.

I don't have this machine but looks like the Jamone 350E . I am not sure if the Elna has the extra hoops after purchase , a 2x2 hoop and mega hoop. Just something to think about.

Hi Sarah, you can't go wrong - I have the 8300 (emb only) & the 8600 (sewing & emb) I invested in Digitizer Ex V3, although costly but worth every cent. The 8300 enbroiders beautiful and comes with a 5x7 or 140x200mm hoop. It can take the Mega too.
Love mine to pieces - not sure if which area you reside but back-up service & assistance excellent. Always willing to share and assist. Go for it, you will not be sorry!

Funny I've also looked at the 8300 the past week. If I can sort my things out it is going to be mine before 2011 is gone. What I like about it - you can use usb and the cards. Currently I can only use a card and the magic box with my current emb machine My understanding of the megahoop is that you need to turn it and the portion of the design should then be "flipped". Apparently the Elna digitizing program does it automatically but is pretty expensive. Won't be able to afford both at the same time but is an add on for later. So in short I like the machine.
