This is for you know who-she has surgery Friday, and I'm getting nervous- thanks to all cuties who helped with the wording, this is the one that worked the best right now. It is done on a tote bag, we always have a lot to pack._Toogie...ps look at the hair and pom-poms.it is suppose to be cut ,so it will fringe, and I am scared to cut.Do you cut the bobbin and what keeps it from all coming undone???

Very very cute! I don't know anything about fringe but I like it just like this. Some cutie will know how to cut it. Great job!

I've cut before for fringe but not this one. THe designer usually makes a loop so you just cut the ends and the bar at the end of the pigtails and pompoms secure the fringe. That would be my educated
guess. I did some paper dolls with pigtails and thats how they where done.
Very nice .

You cut the bobbin thread at the back, then pull the fringe to the top by sliding a toothpick underneath, or the points of your (closed) scissors. The fringe should be held in place by a number of stitch linesans a satin stitch bar at the other end. Sounds scary I know, but this technique has been around for more than a decade and it works.

Toogie, it is darling and Avery will love it. Take the chance and follow the advice of the others - cut the fringe - you will love it.

It's cute but will be adorable and fun once you cut the fringe. Left you a link of how to cut the fringe with pictures. Let us know how it works out for you.

Very cute. Well done. Have you managed to cut the fringe as yet? Yes I was also afraid to cut the first fringe that I did. But it does look great. Hugs Yvonne
