You will need PED Basic, I think, to transfer files to your Brother machine, otherwise I don't know what you need - sorry.
But... Welcome to Cuties! If that didn't answer your question, ask more specifically, and there will be someone who will come along and help.

I have a brother se-400, it didn't come with software and I got truesizer to look at the designs on the computer, you can also use my editor by wings too, right click on the file and send to the sewing machine and you will see it load up into the screen, I use this method since my machine doesn't have a color screen and it's difficult to see the design. Hope this helps, if you are gonna shrink the design Kattule has a great step by step info here in the community. Oh and before you load the image change the formate on the software to All Files, then you can read most formats, my editor reads more than truesizer so I use it the most, both are free to download.

Are you looking to open the design on your computer or on your embroidery machine? If you want to view the design on your computer, then I would suggest My Editor. I'll add a link. I don't know how to open on your machine, as mine does it automatically.
