Do you want to see what a total stranger/fellow sewer made for our Avery? I was in Hancocks, with Avery, and struck up a conversation with another customer (my daughter can't understand how you do this, haha). As we talked, she told me she retired 26 years, from a home here, that houses the special needs children. I told her Avery's story and that she is to have surgery 11-11-11.As we talked, I asked what she was going to make with her fabric she was buying. She said a blanket, she cuts the fringe and then ties in a knot to hold the double fleece together (I saw someone did this in projects and I also have done one. Anyway, she said that she makes pillowcase dresses, mostly for the little girls at church. I was asking how she cut the armhole, so she said she would draw me a pattern. She would drop it off at the physical threapy clinic where my daughter works, since it is in the same complex and she lived locally. She walked back with me and Avery to the clinic and I introduced her to Avery'mom.Yesterday,(it had only been 1 week since I met her) she went to the clinic and besides the pattern, this is what she made for Avery-See photos-1 Large double fleece blanket (60x60),3 pillowcase dresses(2 are lined for winter), 1 bought turtleneck, and 2 hair bows !!!!! My daughter wanted to pay her but nothing doing, wouldn't take a thing. So when Avery goes Friday for her surgery, it supposed to be really cold, we can cover the whole wheelchair with this blanket, head and all! There are still so many good people in the world. The pink check is just crying for an embrodiery design!-Toogie ps..sorry story is so long

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. ;)
