Basic Digitizing Question: When digitizing from a picture or graphics, what is the best pixels quality to use? I am always confused as I want my end result to, of course, be the best definition and clarity but without so much detail that it looks sketchy on the outlines. Can someone provide some help? Thanks in advance

The best picture quality is the one YOU can see the outlines clearly, depending on your eyesight and ability.
I am not too bothered if a graphic is slightly pixelated because my design lines will be where I create them, I often digitise without using any graphic.
The only time you really must have a perfect graphic, with really clean lines, is if you auto-digitise, which doesn't rely on the skill of the digitiser, but the skill of the program.

OOOPS! I forgot to write that, the more pixels the cleaner the details and often this goes with size, the larger the graphic the better because you can reduce the size without reducing the number of pixels.
