Oh dear, I am so sorry for your Mum, I know what knee pain is all about and I understand why you would be so concerned. I will keep my fingers crossed that it all turns out OK.

I hope all things go well for your Mom. Please be strong for her, and your family. My DH had a kneereplacement in Feb 2011 and he is doing very well - walks all over and is not at all uncomfontable. Hope things go this well for your Mom. All the best. Prayers are with you. ***

Dear Pauline, my heart goes out to you. My Mum had her right knee done last year in July - just as all the things were happening with Dad. My prayers are with you all. The operation is easy, it's the recuperation that takes time. Love and blessings Chris

I'm hoping that your Mum is at least feeling a bit better now. Will she be in hospital where she can be cared for until her knee is fixed up?
Sending thoughts of hope for a good recovery her way.
Much Love - Alma.

I think the key is "Needs new one. Today!" I have both knees and both hips replaced (one hip and knee on the same day, the others about 5 years later but 6 weeks apart). Recuperation is still 6 weeks or so to get back to full mobility but I am so very glad I had them done. I am in no pain, I go where I want, I can climb stairs, I can walk all over the mall (sometimes I need a shopping cart for a long stint) but I don't hurt. Get that new knee! Hope all goes well. Linda
