I really wish that some of the embroidery sites that give of their freebies so generously, would give the size. So often I DL only to find the design is too big for my 4x4 hoop.

Sarah.

Edith - I am afraid that I delete them. As for another machine, I doubt it very much but I can keep wishing.........

Do keep wishing and look at E-Bay some real bargains to be had and than sell your other machine to make up the money again.Good luck

If you like the design It's possible to try to resize using one of the free programs.

Anita, I have made some designs smaller but when they are for a bigger hoop then it is a waste of time as the design gets distorted.

I think that I would find that very difficult. Let us know how you get on.

Me too Sarah, I will never have a larger hoop size and it is frustrating.

I download it anyway if I like it. I hope to own a better machine someday and then I'll be able to use them. I also resize some if they are not a lot larger than my embroidery area. Have had pretty good luck doing this. I love the free designs. So thankful people are so generous with their hard work.

I also download designs larger than my hoop. I would love to have a machine that would stitch a larger design but my budgit will not alow it.
