I just saw on the animal channel a dog getting those
Porcupine quills out of his face. Not a lot fun.

AND on top of this the new renters tried to sneak a puppy in to the rental ....

I thought you were speaking metaphorically. Instead, this is literal? How horrible! Poor dogs, poor mom! Sorry to hear that you are having such difficulty with your furbabies. You would think that they would learn. All I can say is...at least it wasn't a skunk? Or would that have been better? The visual is disturbing. I'm sure reality was even worse! Good luck with the vet and your own wounds.
