We are home again! Do you want to see what they did to our baby? Poor baby girl. Hopefully, it helps in the end. She has been in a lot of pain. She did have a better day today. She will continue to have muscle spasms until she heals. They call it muscle release where they cut the tendons so that they will stretch even with the bones. She is growing taller, but her muscles are tight, so her legs can't stretch out straight in order for her to stand. Now they are suppose to ,once it heals. They sent her home with pain meds since it is very painful. We had a 4hr ride home from the hospital and she almost made it. The nurse gave her pain med 5min b/4 we left hoping the trip home wouldn't be too bad for her. Notice Avery has on Mrs.Glorias dress (the stranger we met at the fabric store) I have another story to tell but will have to be later.-Toogie ps photo Avery and Mom-Avery close-up- Avery going home!

My brother had something similar done when he was very young. It worked very well, he is in his late forties now. Come to think about it my cousin did too. They both tended to walk on their tiptoes before the surgeries. Both walk great now. Your little one will do well too. She looks to be a go getter.
Hugs

hugs & kisses to Avery. My boy Zac has had 4 body plasters - toes to armpits. Last time was for 3 months. Hubby made him a board with wheels so he could use his arms and commando crawl around. Zac thought this was hilarious. Hope the time goes fast. xx

Oh my goodness, your poor baby. Makes me have tears in my eyes for her. I hopr she does well after the surgery heals. Saw this same thing done on a friend's daughter and it really helped her put her feet all the way to the floor to walk. Good luck little Avery, you are precious.

It's hard to sit back and see this beautiful child in pain. My thoughts for Avery's complete and swift recovery are flying around the world to her and while I know she will have to endure those muscle spasms during the healing process I do hope that they become less intense very soon.
Much love to Avery and much love to you and the family as you help her work through this new challenge.
