Well today is another day, Thank You Jesus!
I have just recently been diagnosed with stomach cancer and have had my first 2 treatments, been sick alot and I'm afraid I am about to lose my job. Please keep me in your prayers and may God bless each of you! I can't wait to get to my computer to see what the Cuties are up to and I so enjoy reading the community posts. You all are so talented and I am glad I found a new family. :)

There is no other site with as large of a prayer circle than here and those who don't pray send good wishes and thoughts your way. Good luck, I hope they get you well and remember, positive thinking is the best start. I had lung cancer 2 years ago and now it has spread, they found it in my skull in the bone but not the brain so we are going to fight hard to put a stop to this.

Hang in there. My husband has been fighting lymphoma for six years now. He's on his fifth kind of Chemo. The last one was last February, he had radiation. He's very weak from that. His blood count is 23. He started with 153. I don't know much about it. Thank God he has a great attitude, and that helps him alot. They have all kinds of new treatments now. Were you offered any clinical trials? My DH had 3 of them. You sound very positive. Keep up this attitude! I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Blessings, Rachel

I really empathise with you MJ. Chemo is the pits, while some people seem to just breeze through it without side effects, others are so ill you just want it all to end as quickly as possible.
There are many Survivors here and you can bet your britches they will all be praying for you to have a positive outcome and that should be the thing that keeps you going.
While most of our lives we consider the journey to be more important than the destination, this is the one time it isn't, it's the end result you have to keep in sight.

As the treatment progresses you may not feel like actually eating anything, You will still need those vitamins to help the body heal so may i suggest that you get a juicer in advance if you have not one allready, you can then juice those carrots and veg and fruit and drink them. fresh grates ginger made into a drink with hot water and a spoonfull of honey will help stop that dreaded sickness. But please check if you suffer from hight blood preasure first as ginger is not so good then.

Wow, what news! I fear cancer more than just anything else. It is so invasive! But with proper care, you can defeat it and carry on. Where do you live? I am pretty sure that in the US, you cannot be dismissed from a job due to health reasons. I wish you the very best.
