I've just realised that it is now two years since I first stumbled across this site, just after I bought my embroidery machine. At the time, I had no idea of the potential of this new (to me) world. Thanks to you all, who have offered advice, inspiration and companionship and may we continue to share for many years to come!

You've come a long way since the novice stage, offering advice, creating lovely projects to inspire us, setting up the Secret Santa etc scheme. I am so glad you found the site!! And I can hardly believe it's only two years.

Well done Sue - I think I have been with Cute for about 18 months. I also 'stumbled' upon the site as you so aptly put it. Thank you for helping me with EFP. Sarah.

Time passes quickly when you are enjoying yourself. Most of us found Cute while wandering round the internet trying to expand our knowledge of machine embroidery. Thanks for your huge efforts in SS and all things related, plus the great ideas gained from the lovely work you have created. First with your original machine and now the new one. Wishing you many happy years embroidering Sue and for me PSHE is back next week for all the morning

I've been doing PSHE teacher training today.

what is PSHE training ?
by spendlove 19 Nov 2011
PSHE is short for Personal Social and Health Education. I train teachers to be better at it (I hope!)

I too stumbled across this site, Sue. What a lovely group of ladies. We have laughed together and cried together. I would like to thank you for all you do in making our friendships so special - by organising the Secret Santas. Take a bow, and again - THANK YOU!

Sue, Thank you for the SS and Christmas in July project. You've contributed so much with all you do.
I feel as if I know everyone whom I read about here personally. I was overwhelmed when I became ill and received cards from so many concerned about me even though we had never met. Thanks to all that add so much to our lives.I look forward everyday to reading the news here.Stella

Hi Sue, I'm like you - I just stumbled onto Cuties too! My husband can't quite understand how I can call internet friends "friends" when we have never actually met. He just doesn't get it. But we do have a bond, and a sharing of ideas and songs and designs and hearts. I'm so glad we found each other! You enrich my life, dear friend! Hugs, Jan

Same to me. When my mother-in-law asked me if I wanted her sewingmachine, I said "yes, it is always usefull if I can fix a zipper or so".. the "or so" turned out to be a whole new world. It is not only the machine I need to learn; I need to learn about design, threads, needles, fabric, I see on these side lots of great ideas which I want to try also, I have nice people here who help me....
What a world !!!! Love it !
