I have fixed this short for my secretary 'cos during the year she is always helping me. But I'm thinking about the "things you use to pick up pots" -sorry don't know the english word- can you sew them too ? Doesn't you needle break ? how to handle ?

This is a lovely set and I do like the shorter apron. Your thinking pot holder or hot pads. They embroider easily in the hoop with batting between a top, and a bottom.

but the fabric is much "harder" than ex a short. do I need special needle to sew ?

Lovely work. The pot holder can be called ovenglove in the UK

thx, but did you ever sewed on one before ? and how ?
Are you thinking of the oven mitt. If so the embroidery is easier done on a mitt seperately and then you slide it over the mitt, just sew a couple of pieces of velcro at the top to hold the outer mitt in place. Very easy. This way you keep your mitts longer because you only wash the outer mitt.
Hope this helps
