I like both-it's easy to identify with the cutie name but it's nice know everyone's real name & it kinda makes it a little more personal that way

Thanks Raelene; I love the list and it makes me feel 'closer' to people, if I know their Christian name. But if they prefer, they can certainly choose not to give their Christian name.
We all appreciate the overwhelming task of keeping up with these birthdays, and think you're the best for reminding everyone of the special days.

I prefer to see the Christian name and do not mind my real name being used. It makes it a bit more personal! I do not mind and I do understand if someone does not want their name used and prefere their Cutie name used. To each his own. I appreciate all of the time you go to to list the birthdays for all of us. Linda

Regarding proper names v. avatars.......I'm fine with whatever other people prefer. They just have to let you know, e.g. 'I prefer you use my avatar, thanks'. Obviously if people sign a message with their name they don't mind us using it, but I was asked once by one member not to use her proper name and I respect that.

fine by me it makes you feel someone remembered my dh would not remember unless my daughter writes it in his diary i am afraid my sons are like their father but i am used to it one year my eldest hired a strech limo picked me up champs and roses in the limo and taken to dinner treated like a queen that will do me for life if he never remembers again,,,,,soozie

You do such a fine job of posting all of the birthdays. It is very much appreciated. I prefer my Christian name and really wish I had used it instead of the user name that I picked. However, I know that there are some cuties who really don't like to use their Christian names for privacy reasons and I think that we should respect that.
