Five Star Fonts has a "Merry Christmas" for free. Anita has so many lovely designs and they stitch out nicely.

Speaking of aprons, am looking for a pattern for a prairie apron.(closest I have seen was worn by Sarah on Sarah Plain and Tall. has one button in back nice and flowing no ties. I would not make it as long.Almost like a pinafore but no ruffles.

Simplicity 7481 is an older pattern but it might still be available and sounds like what you are looking for.
