Hello Cuties, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

On November 22, 2011 at 8:05pm my second great granddaughter made her grand entrance into the world. Weighing in at 5 lbs 14 oz and 17 inches long. Lucy RuthLynn Lock.
Now I know I am getting old. I do have a request. Does anyone remember where/who/name of the design for the thingy that goes around the tube going into the naval? I saw a pic of Lucy with the tube, but when her father was asked about the 'tube', his reply was 'that's her umbilical cord.' No way. Anyway, I would like to get making some for when he admits they are going to need them. We knew when the baby was about to be born he was more anxious then expected...now we know why. She's in God's hands and her father needs to let him do his magic.
I know this has to be tough on him being he is only 22 and my daughter (Lucy's grandma) is so open about his 3 yr old sister being extremely 'advanced' for her age and just perfect in her eyes. God has a plan for her and this is how his sister needs to be.For whatever reason. Selfish me just wishes she could have stayed a 'babyish' a bit longer. At age 3 she wears a size 7 and if she leaves something in the car, she says it's in the vehicle.
I think he has forgotten we 'lost' my daughter twice in delivery and my granddaughter once. He needs to know being in denial is not how to know we are here for them. Sorry to carry on. Seems there is always something. I can only think that someone in my daughters and grandsons family has wandered from God's flock and he is determined to get them back.
Anyway, if anyone knows the link to the design I would very much appreciate it.

Hi Teddybear,

I made 50 for one of our Cute members in South Australia. Her greatniece had need of STOMA Pads. Meganne kindly did one for me and they worked really well. Below is the link. Love and blessings Chris

Thank you for the link. It will be most helpful. I am hoping that when my grandson said there were going to be more pic's in about 4 days that he was telling us that 'just maybe' the condition was temporary. In that case I will have made some of the pads for someone else to use should they be needed. I make blankets and dolls to give away...I would think these would be more useful.

Thank You ever so much for congratulations. We don't know anything more. Daddy is keeping to himself and won't say much other then there would be more pictures in about 4 days. Makes us want to cry.

How far are you away from them?
by teddybear117 27 Nov 2011
Not so far I couldn't go see them. Actually only 2 or 3 cities away. We are a bit estranged at the moment. It's a very long and painful story for me. I will just say a quick comment on it. We are senior citizens. I don't take someone stealing from me too kindly. Especially when we bent over backwards to help. But when it comes to a baby needing something I am big enough to set my feelings on a back burner.

Maybe soon you can make arrangements to meet Baby Lucy in a public place. Sometimes a neutral place can work in your situation.
