They had some really great deals-alot of stuff 50-60% off plus they had alot of showcase items-my main objective though, was to get my 1/2 price scissors lol.

Seems that you had a lucky day shopping with your daughter :o)
I also feel so happy when I can get designs I always wanted for a good price at a sale *lol*

Wow! You really scored! I'd love to know what you think of the Applique scissors. Are they really better than a good pair of curved point scissors? They are so expensive, and unless they are better, I'm a little reluctant to add another pair to my tools. Have fun with all your new treasures! Jan

I am going on what I have others say about them Jan-but alas-they are a Christmas present, so I will have to wait(maybe lol) They are pricey that's why I took the 50% off those

I got some more batting by the yard, and some more white kona cotton. Love that for my quilts. I was going to use the 50 % on a bobbin winder, but they put all the singer stuff 10% off. Usually what happens. So I'll wait for another time.

Good for you - my younger DD did a hurt on her pocket book at JoAnn's too - two days in a row. She is a scrapebooker, and took advantage of the Cricuit cartridges and storage bins - She sure doesn't sew. LOL Leaves that for me.

Wow!! Good for you GF!! our JoAnn's doesn't have sweatshirts, just T's. I would have wiped them out for that price..LOL!! I got a great deal on yarn with at 25% off all purchase incl sale, but the cutting line was wrapped all throughout the store, those guys are probably still there waiting to get their fabric cut...LOL!
