I'm having a senior moment now. I want to do Katulles peach satin Xmas tree.The stablizer is hooped ,satin on top but is there anything between the two or does the stitching create to puffy effect ?

I am needing instructions for her designs, however I thought the only way to get what she has is to use high-loft polyester batting. Maybe a regular poly batting would do. I am going to test it soon, so please let me know what you do! Thanks

I've made several of these. Some have had a light weight wadding and some just curtain interlining (a cross between fleece and felt) They all look great but the ones with wadding are fatter. It is probably not necessary for the ones which have fill stitching in every section.
