HI GALS AND GUYS - Just had to share these pictures of my Annual Christmas ladies luncheon. Had a wonderful day and Meg really enjoyed herself. Unfortunately our priest Wendy couldn't make it due to a gastric bug!
Anyway, we all had a fantastic time, lots of great food, wonderful drinks and even better conversation. Some tears were shed as my best friend Margaret wasn't there and Babs another friend who have both gone to their final rest.
Everyone loved all the goodies I've been making throughout the year and of course their Plum Puddings that my dear Trevor buys for them each year, went down a treat! What a feast!
We had beautiful Hazelnut Plunger Coffee, Champagne with Hibiscus flowers floating in them which makes the champers pink. For dessert we had Newcastle Pudding lady's Macadamia Pudding with Brandy Custard! and then White Rocky road and choccies after dessert. So full can't eat a thing for dinner.
So glad you can all share in seeing the table and my wonderful friends. Thanks to Meg too for making those beautiful Christmas tree cookies! You are a gem.
Love and blessings Chris

What a pity that CUTE don't give me the pic 1,3,4 and 5 no matter how often I press the reload-button.
Greetings, Bettina
Next year I begin my Christmas stitching in January.
Not so miffed about the gorgeous food and the gorgeous table setting in that gorgeous red Christmassy colour, or even the bonbons (with party hats and jokes in them) ........ but just look at all that Christmas stitching. I bet that was a lot of fun to stitch out.
AlmaG.
The table, in fact all the tables, were beautifully set with lots of different Santa's, Nativities and Christmas ornaments and it was a feast for the eyes even before putting the food out.
Chris, you are truly a gracious hostess and your friends made me feel like I am one of them.
I don't make friends easily and I've never been good at small talk in groups of strangers, but not once today did I feel uncomfortable, so I hope you will pass on my thanks to your friends for making me feel so welcome.
And your beautiful daughters, wow, what can I say, such genuine warmth, I was so deeply touched. You are so lucky to have daughters and be so close to them, but of course you already know that. :-)
Should I be so lucky, perhaps next year, you'll invite me again.LOL!!!!
Thank you friend. hugs n love, Meg
P.S. Of course you are coming next year!
Thanks for your comments, months of work involved here. Love Chris
