Cuties! question regarding embroidery needles, I use the schmetz which is pricy, I read here a while back about universal needles.
Which size do you use the most (on cotton polyester fabric) and where do you get the best deals?
I find I'm using alot of needles and at times I have to change it out before the design is complete, because the ding dang thread is bunching up under the design or wrapping around the bobbin.
I'm in Canada, but can have the order sent to my sister in laws, I have a Brother SE-400 if that makes a difference. Thanks.

Hi I use Organ needles that I buy from ebay in boxes of 100. I am sure your countries ebay sells similar. I get size 80. I look forward to others replies

I also previously had a question about needles...as well as regular vs. titanium and specifically Organ Needles...Many Cuties replied with Organ being fantastic needles. I have purchased them on E-Bay...100 of the 80/12 size and they were only about $27 including postage to the U.S. I think that's a bargain! P.S. I did not get the titanium...for the price, I will change needles more often...maybe next time I'll try the titanium.

I buy mine here. I also use organ. I do a lot of knits. So, I get both the knit needles and regular needles. I usually use an 11.

I buy schmetz by the 100 from my dealer (they have sales a couple of times a year). I get the 80/12 universal and use them for pretty much everything. Lots of folks have said allstitch has them for a good price.
