Towel that broke 4 needles.. Love the result but was an marathon worried with each stitch...think it looks ok but outline not so good as it moved while stitching..used the wrong size needle

It is from Amazing Designs card 1402 Monkey love...I used a 75/11 should have used 80/12 at least...hugs sally
Thank you. I have a set of new towels the same colour - will have to look for the design. Was wondering what designs/s to use on this colour!!!
Will suit my 2yr GD who thinks to impersonate a monkey is the funniest thing in the world.

I bet that Alex will never find out about the outline! The design is beautiful and the colors go very well with the lovely color of the bath towel which looks thick and soft. I like it!

Would never know what trouble you had from looking at this. Well done. Can see the towel looks very thick though, so no wonder it was a bit of a challenge!

Well done! It looks very nice. Doesn't look like it moved to much. I'm sure Alex won't even notice. The towel looks like its very thick, so thats probally why it worried your machine so.

IT'S ME AGAIN. THE REASON I ASKED WHAT SITE, IS BECAUSE I DIDN'T SEE THEM ON CUTIES, SITE, WHICH IS MY FAV SITE!
They come from Amazing designs card1402 not sure where I bought them had them for ages use them frequently.

Love the colors! Really cute design! Did you figure out why the needles broke, was the needle too fine for the fabric?

Either needle too small also was using Q&A thread which I have learnt is not good.
I understand about less expensive thread! It ends up costing more when all is finished. Either you have to redo the whole project or find it commercailly!!
