I haven't tried the cards yet but pulled out a couple simple stitch designs to consider. Going in an out of paper would think never satin type or anything dense. I wish I could get my hands on some rice paper as it has a more fabric type texture.

never heard of rice paper lol
You can crumple and fold without harm to the paper since it has plant fibers in it and it don't tear or rip easily. I have used it in some of my crafts and think some countries use it in money bills.
I have the PE Design, in there I have used "Eras Light". I would look at the ones like this that say light. very simple lettering. Hope this helps. Pam.
Hand made paper is great for embroidery as the fibres hold it together. In the UK, rice paper is very smooth and edible! (Used for baking some things on.
Sue i never heard of either???

It's the satin stitches that cause the tearing. 5D only has Line Block and Line Script that you could use, those are single lines; they can be done from as tiny a height as 3mm for the one and 4 mm for the other.

I looked I only have 3D but found the same only Line block and Line Script...hugs Sally
I had 3D until May and had to look in 5D to see if they had added some other line alphabet, but they had not. And as in 3D 5D offers no possibility in QF to make a set yourself.
