My new machine has arrived and i have lots of questions to ask. The machine is a singer futura XL-400. At the moment it is just sat their doing nothing. Tried to load the disc that came with it . a few things have come up. 1) Exception access violation (0xoooooo5) at address 0xo3fo2b60. 2) Windows can’t verify the publisher of this driver software. 3) top corner . open design the program closes down. 4) design browser futura has stopped working and the pc screen just fades away saying message saying windows will close the program. When i whated the review of the machine i thought i would be able to use the same files as my old machine in pes format .

Sorry I cannot help. I would suggest that you put this in the public area where far more people will see the question and then you will get some answers. Not as many come to this bit of Cute. Sorry to hear you are having problems with your new machine. Did you get it from a dealer, if so I would contact them for help

Hi Bunny...

Well, I do know a little bit about your troubles, even though I'm a Futura 350 owner. Its possible that the drivers for your machine isn't corresponding with your computer's operating system (OS). First thing you've got to do is go to the website for the Futura XL-400 and find out if its got any updates that your computer needs to run the program. When I upgraded my computer's OS, the Futura software didn't work properly. There was a driver update on the Futura's website so that I could run the program on my computer with the new OS. I'd suggest calling the place where you got your new Futura from and explaining it to them to see if they have any reasonable suggestions... meaning that they can answer your question with logical, and helpful, responses.

Good luck. I'll keep an eye open for responses to this thread on the board.
