Thank you, Carolyn! I use Embird for the layout, merging the border with the design/s, then I hoop water-soluble vilene, place the material on top, embroider the placing running stitch, trim the fabric close to the running stitch, then embroider all the other colors. When it's finished, I rinse the vilene away, let the doily dry and then iron it. Hugs, Lidia

How do you get the backing material on is that after you embroidered the middle design, do you do the running stitch again and repeat the trimming for the back? We need you to write a tutorial? Sally
