Card
I needed a card and came up with this one. I used mylar for the first time. It was called "opal clear" but intensives the color of both background and thread. Colours in the picture are a bit too light.
To ease placement, I designed an A6-outline, which I stitched on the stabiliser before adding the card and stitching the rest of the design.

I could use the edit function!! I should of course have written 'intensifies'.

The mylar has given it the most amazing effect. Love it. Sarah.

Thank you. I'd seen examples, digitised for mylar, but never used it myself and wondered if it would work on paper too. And it does. I was amazed at the effect and am now stitching a couple more in between angels and Christmas ornaments.

Beautiful card.

I have used placment lines for years, find it very useful for napkins, decorations on a pocket of children's clothing, even placing buttonholes evenly spaced, etc. But would you believe it this was the first time I used it for cards - real silly as it is so much faster.

For us that do not design a placement line would be helpful that is for sure. Nice card.
