Stocking I made for my son many years ago before I did embroidery. Now it is time to make one for his girlfriend and I don't know if I should make it with just her name as this one or if I make it like the style I do now with all the embroidery. If I embroider hers, I will need to redo his. What do you think, which do you prefer, help me pleaseeeee, can't seem to decide.

This one in the picture is beautiful. But, I'm inclined to think that a new one for your son, and perhaps a matching one for his girlfriend is probably the way to go.

Your original one is gorgeous. Right now I'm going through the same thoughts with my son's new girlfriend he has given a little promise ring to and what to do about a stocking for her. Will check back to read what the cuties advise is. I like your embroidered one just as much. Both are lovely.

Well, I think that your son might like to have a matching stocking to his girlfriends. Make two of the new style, they are fabulous! Who knows, maybe they will someday marry and hang them in their home together.
