An apron I made for my nephew. Translation, "I am not a chef, I am THE CHEF". The word chef in french can also have the meaning of BOSS, or guy in control.
He likes to think he is but his wife certainly doesn't agree and had me add in small letters at the bottom "in the kitchen".
I think he will like it, it will flatter his ego. I do not remember where the french chef design is from, sorry.
Thanks for looking,
Hugs
Michelle

A nice apron and what a wonderful story behind them :o)
Do you know the film "my fat greek wedding"? The dad there also think he is the master in the house but his wife said: "The man may be the head but I'm the neck and turn him in whatever direction I will" *lol*
Greetings, Bettina
