I don't have your machine but I feel you can do this. I would not try to hoop the jacket unless you have a quilters hoop that has an inner hoop that allows for more room. Maybe someone who has your machine will give you a better answer.

Welcome to the best site for questions and answers that I've ever found!
I have two suggestions for your embroidery. First, if you have a magnetic hoop that will allow your project to lay flat, then that would work the best. If you do not, then I would use the wash away sticky stabilizer (or regular sticky stabilizer), NOT hoop the quilted fabric, but instead, stick the fabric to the stabilizer and then run a basting stitch around the edges. Then turn your speed down a little bit so your project isn't flung right out of the hoop and proceed. Be sure to score the stabilizer so that it is sticky within the hoop but not sticking to the hoop. I hope this helps. Be careful if you try to hoop your project, as it hurts the pocketbook if you break a hoop. They are sturdy but they have their limits.
