I have a Christmas request. I know many have received a Christmas card from one of our dearest members. Miss Shirlene has been a member since near beginning of Cute. The last year or so has been quite difficult for her family. Resolution is still several months away. Please go to www.loveoflace.com and place an order. She can send it to your gift recipient and most likely still make it by Christmas. Or send a New Year’s Card. Even if you don’t need one or could make it yourself, buy a doily for yourself for your heirloom chest. We are all she has and when you are selling to an audience that can “make it themselves” you don’t get many orders. Is that one of those 3D ones? With applique and FSL? It is pretty.
It is really pretty and it is indeed applique and free standing lace. I did not even know this existed! It is from criswell, and I have been there. She is a Christmas Angel.

Here are 3 doilies that Shirlene made. I told her southwest and just sent the money via paypal to shirlene@loveoflace.com and she did the rest. This time I am getting angels... angels... angels! I really can't make these so it is fortunate I got a christmas check today! Mine are all cotton because that is the tension I get along with! Her stuff sparkles!

Shirlene, I ordered two sets that I wanted sent to my grandchildren. Used Paypal and added a note of where I wanted them sent. Hope that is okay.

You all have been so wonderful today - I have been busy - which is a good thing - even though it is my first real day out of bed - except the other day - when I watched movies on the couch - I was sore and in pain - but I did get through most of the day and will continue to work on things tomorrow and meet the postman on Tuesday with a few orders going out - to the ones that were so kind to purchase from my website - you blessed me with these - it will help me either get my meds - that I have been without for 3 months or will allow me to get Rick something for Christmas - you got it - it will be for Rick - hehehe! Since I work with cotton, I was astounded to see 100% metallic. Today I conquered 100% rayon! Next polyester and metallic! I now understand the need for high stitch count, when you use a thinner thread you need a much lnger piece and many more stitches!
