I have a my first great grandchild on the way and Ii am sewing a cot set for them,but we want to use Beatrix potter designs and I have not been able to locate any,has anyone out there got a set or know where I can purchase them.I am in a small country town in Australia and have tried e-bay, but the only ones come from the us states and they won't allow me to purchase them here.It's copyright!

I have a friend who is crazy about Beatrix Potter and she purchased a CD with many designs of the characters. She would have bought it through the shop where her machine came from.

I have a Bernina design card with peter rabbit designs which also works on my brother machine.
It is called "Studio Bernina, Peter Rabbit Collection No. 104"
I have had it a while, but ask at your dealer, with that information they may be able to help you.
Janome also produced a design card, Janome Embroidery Card #7 Little Grey Rabbit. The rabbits etc looked very similar although they weren't actual beatrix potter. If you can find it as far as I know it will only work on Janome 8000/9000 machines. Check carefully.
Another possible is Sue Box collection Woodland Treasures. They are similar style designs.

I had a look at my Peter Rabbit card, it's the same Studio Bernina No. 104, designs are pes. They might have it on CD now if you are lucky.

Congratulations on your first great grandchild on the way, and welcome to Cute! I can't help you with the Beatrix Potter designs. if you find them,and they can only be stitched with a 8000 or 9000 Janome, it's possible that you will not be able to convert the designs for stitching them in another machine. My previous machine has been a 9000 Janome bought in 1999 and stitched .sew format only. The two cards I got are not viewable in the computer, they stitch directly in the machine. Hugs, Lidia

I haven't been able to find any, though I thought someone sold them somewhere. Looked through my designs, couldn't find any free samples from sets being sold. Could be the Bernina card or CD may be what is out there.
I would say search ebay, but who knows if what they are selling is legit.

OK--looks like the Dakota Collectibles Beatrix Potter CD is no longer available. Perhaps you can find someone selling a copy on ebay.
