Hey all Aussie & Kiwi Cuties..I will be travelling to Sydney for 5 days and then on a cruise down the coast and to New Zealand...4 days in Aukland. Any suggestions on what not to miss...especially embroidery stops??? First trip...so excited!!

Nice to have you in our part of the world!! I am in NZ but am new to embroidery so don't know of any embroidery stops, but hope you have a fabulous trip!!

I don't know the material shops in Sydney, except for the one in the street behind the QVB Queen Victoria Building. You could ask practically anyone where the QVB is and they will be able to direct you. But if you are from the States you will find you have far more variety and much cheaper prices than in Australia.
If you are going to be anywhere besides Sydney, let us know and perhaps some Cuties could meet up with you. I am on the Central Coast, Chris Pennifold is in Newcastle, you should ask the tour director if (and when) you will be anywhere in our vicinity and let us know.

Thanks for the info...I will also be in Melbourne on Jan 25 & 26, then Hobart, then on to New Zealand ports. I'll be sure to check out the QVB!
