Marc's Ornament...each year we buy special ornaments for our grands, and it is a tradition that they always must find their ornament on the tree, then they take it home at the end of Christmas Day. This year Marc will not be with us, as he is in training, but his ornment is close to the top of the tree. I took the picture to put in his Christmas card to send off to him.

Oh yes, it will go home with my DD - and we are having a late Christmas with him when he comes home in March.

My tree has all of my favorite ornaments collected over 47 years and from around the world, but I always have their ornaments on the tree. I started this when my girls were babies. When they left home to homes of their own, their ornaments were given to them. I almost cried, for then I knew I had the empty nest. But the grands came along, and we are all still close.
