I want to sew myself a bag and I am searching for embroidery files "for grown ups". Mine are more for kids, but nothing for myself so far.

Anybody ideas for motives? I can digitize myself, but I think flowers are too boring! ;)

Thanks for inspiration!
Kirsten

Why not check out this site - flowers aren't really their thing...

Well, I saw a design of them with about 40 jumps - all over the design. And since I always try to avoid jumps, thats not really mine. Thanks anyway! :) Its really grown-up stuff! :)

I get a lot of designs from urbanthreads.com They have mostly alternaive designs and a much more modern sensiblity than most embroidery sites.

You might try PLB..link below..click on Embroidery tab, then select a designer category...most designs are free..but you have to log in..worth it! You might find something there...

What sort of things are you into? I have a few things on my site, but I would also have a look and 10embroidery.

I clicked on 10embroidery link but my antivirus program warned that it's a dangerous site, so I didn't proceed. Hugs,Lidia

I've never had a problem on the 10embroidery site. I just checked again and the site is safe. Many of us visit that site regularly and she has some lovely designs and ideas (and she's a member here too)- worth a 2nd visit for you :) xXx

I generally like something showing a sense of humour but maybe that's not your thing, either. There are some nice looking grown up women designs at Huskey and some more at Advanced. I also like the Fantasy Floral Women at Kreations by Kara at OPW. Have fun choosing and good on you for actually doing something for yourself -too few of us get around to doing that!

The first link didn't work, sorry. Try copy and pasting:

Or just delete after the .com with the original link.
