I found these little trees on the cute embroidery site. They are so cute This was my Christmas card (don't do paper cards) for 2011. I plan to give one to each of my quilting friends at our Christmas in July pot luck. Love them - THANK YOU!

These aren't really lace - they are more like a free standing applique. You do need to use fabric - but I still think they are so cute!
I think she used metallics because the designs really pop and at first I thought
they where beaded.

I have gone through over a hundred pages and I can not find the tree it is so cute I guesse i missed it when I was away on a quilt show .I do not have access to a computer when I am there.
