Regarding my husbands work colleague who wanted towels for her sons and gave me no instruction. I phoned her and managed to get a few ideas from her. My husband took them to work for her and now he has come home for lunch with 2 more towels for this lady. She wanted more of the same as what I had done.

Well obviously you did an outstanding job -as long as it's paid work, a good thing in the long run I guess :)

guess it's a compliment but sounds more like being taken advantage of so close to xmas. Hopefully you are being paid. I've been 'used' several times - usually by some so-called friend, leaves you kinda huffy but what the heck. See you apparently a very very nice lady. Keep your pretty smile and be you. Hope you xmas is happy and that there are no more towels to deal with! (giggle)

Alice, it is a compliment for her to want more, and unless you are being compensated monetarily, or not, it is a bit too close to Christmas to be needing to fill orders! Think I would ask my husband to discreetly suggest to his colleague at an opportune moment that should she need items next Christmas, you need more notice to avoid rushing during the holidays! Sometimes we pay a hefty "price" for our compliments!! LOL Hugs to you, and Merry Christmas to you and your hubby!

It is so wonderful that you can do this for her! But, isn't it a little too close to Christmas to be taking new orders? Please take time for yourself too.

I too have taken last minute items, as we all probably have.

Have a fantastic holiday! Rest when you can!
Hugs, Bonnie

Hi Alice,

Great news!!! This lady will be great advertisement for you. I expect you to get referrals from her. It always pays to go the extra mile if only for the advertising.
