Dear Cute Family,
I thought it was a good time for some good news. I got a part time job in September in aged care industry, and I'm enjoying it and most important, now I can help my son. He lost the foster family because he turned 18, but he got a homeless unit from the government and they are helping him in everything they can. He is studying hard to get schoolarship for the university in 2 years, and I am so proud of him. Life is improving for me and my son, and for that I thank God and all my friends for your prayers and for being there for me. You all are often in my thoughts and I pray God bless you and your family always. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Love and hugs, Yoriko

Here is Yukio, in his new "home". It is a place for people without family. He says everyone is very kind to him, and he is very happy. I miss him so much...

Oh Yoriko, that is wonderful news, you working again gives you new hope and now that your son is in a home and planning to go to university things should be so much easier on your mind. Dear Debra, you are so right, working again brought back my hopes, and knowing that he is studying hard to go the University makes me so proud of him. I talked to him yesterday, and it seems this winter is very cold in Japan, and he asked to some of his winter clothes he left here.
