Cat with the midas touch.Yesterday was wet & Gandalf spent most of the day next to me except when husband went for a wee Gandalf went to ,stood on his hind legs with his front paws on the toilet bowl looking in .Husband wasn't very happy about having a audience but I wish I could have seen it.The golden paws happened after dinner because I was laughing at him he kept on tucking them under so I couldn't get a decent photo .This morning he caught his 4th mouse ,rat whatever this week .Don't know where he is getting them from.

This isn't the first time his paws turn yellow .I turned my hands & fingers yellow too,it was caused when I pulled up the Swedish Ivy that has taken over the backyard covering the cycads & other plants in its way

So Gandalf puts on his christmas-stockings :o)
Once I had a cat that really used the toilette siting on toilet seat and pies in the middle (we never get him to use the flushing *lol*
Greetings, Bettina

He does look well feed. If he is catching that many be glad they are not getting in the house. He looks like good entertainment.

Husband has started putting out bird seed again .Coincidence or not I reckon he is the cause of this vermin problem.Last time we had mice in the house ,they went every .2 died behind the fridge, smelt like blood & bone fertiliser & he had a large sack of seed in the garage which connects to the family room .He eventually listened to reason, moved it outside in a air tight bucket

I don't know why the Swedish Ivy is turning paws ,hands etc golden all of a sudden, because it has been used as a ground cover for years in our yard.
The West Highland Terriers use to run throught it & I have pulled it up many times ,but this is the first time for golden colour
