I need your help. On Embroidery Library's web site they have a picture in their projects section of a jacket with Snowy owls on it. I found the design that was used on the back but I don't know where to get the one on the front. It looks like the owl is coming in for a landing. Very beautiful !!! Anyone know of this design and where I can get it? Thank you very much.

There is a picture of the owl and the design if this is the one you are looking for. If not you can contact emlibrary and ask them where to find the design. hugs Helen

It is really hard - without the web link to what you are talking about - however - I found this link to a Perche Owl Jacket - it has two different designs - one on the front and one on the back - below the project - generally Emblibrary will also show where the designs came from - on this jacket it shows both designs - check it out and see if it is the one you are looking for. If not - go back to the project section and locate the project you are speaking of and see if the designs are listed below it.

Maybe the owl on the front was not from emblibrary? This could be a reason why the don't have a link but nevertheless they wanna show the complete jacket (as an inspiration that you can combine their designs with those of other embroideriepages?).
Best way is write a mail to Deb or Kenny about that owl ;o)
Greetings, Bettina

I sent them an e-mail but haven't heard back from them yet.

I wrote tho that parrot-page but don't expect to hear from them during the holidays. Could it be that it is a very old one? They don't accept paypal and the text about January 2007 under the owl-design gives me that feeling...

Well it's not an Emblibrary design or they would have added it to the project so everyone could find it.

So the hunt is on, come on Cuties, let's find this gorgeous owl, sorry I couldn't get the photo clearer in such a rush.

Shazells is correct that it is a Emb Lib design M1487 - I suspect it is a discontinued design as it does not show when I enter that number on the Emb Lib site

I for one would like it if EmbLibrary put this owl back in their inventory of designs.

The response from Embroidery Library is that is an old design they no longer sell. However they are working on some new Owl designs expected to release Jan. 11. Thank you all for your responses Hugs :)

This is the answer from Emblibrary:

No, that’s a design that we created (we draw and digitize all of our designs, we don’t use clip art or stock photos), and we don’t authorize anyone else to sell the designs.

That design is no longer available, and it won’t be added back to the website. There are other owls that you can choose, and new owl designs will be coming out in a few weeks.

The design I'm interested in is the one on the front of the jacket and that one is no longer available. But thanks for your comment.
