Caleb's quilt I made for christmas(1/2, couldn't get it all in 1 pix. Squares are every other one embroidery and embroidery applique sunbonnet Sams. Squares 12x12 not counting sashing. Queen size. Other side coming up/Lillian

True, but hrs well spent Iris. To see how proud he was of it was worth every finger prick & yes there are a few drops of blood on it, but very small ones.

Twee I quilted it freehand on the embroidery machine. You put the feed dogs down then move the quilt around while it's stitching using both hands to guide it around. Thank you/Lillian

Lilian this is stunning. I want to follow your example. I have 5 quilts that I have to put together and I want to do free hand motion as well.
