It did take a while but I was sick a lot and many weeks could not do anything but I really wanted to get it done so I could give it to him for Christmas

I hoped it would be as I was doing it Kay. He loved it, when he opened it he put it on the floor and rolled himself up in it saying I know Gi Gi made me this blanket(his mom told him "that's a quilt"

yes carolyn, I put every stitch in myself & then did what I call free hand quilting with the feed dogs down & you move it in all directions. Wish I could afford a quilting machine.
