Merry Christmas to all the cute family. This has been a sad and Joyous Christmas at the same time. My Uncle of 87 and a retired priest from MN went to his Lord and maker at 11:00 PM CST on the 24th. We his nieces and nephews will surely miss this pillar of our family. At the same time we know that his wish with dwindling health was to see his family in heaven for Christmas. We traveled the hour and half to say our good byes on the morning of the 24th. During our 10:00pm Christmas eve Mass in my heart I sensed that his life on earth had come to completion. We will celebrate his 87 years of which 60 were as a priest on Thursday. Cindy B.

Cindy, you have such a way about you - with your understanding of death - I appreciate that about you, so very much. I am so sorry for your loss and I will be praying for you and your family. I do believe that there will be many there with you to clebrate your Uncle's life and years of service to his community.

Cindy, Reading this makes me think of my Dear Aunt Tess, I was with her when she passed at 100 years old. So many of her friends and family members had passed on ahead of her - she was ready and I had to let her go. I was so lucky to have had her for an aunt and I will never forget her.
