Oh! sweetie , my dear sweet Mom is 102 and barely hanging in there. She is still eating well and is able to communicate and understand. She is 4 hr away and I don't get to see her as often as I wish i could.

No Kay 70 isn't the end either. I am 72 and started work the beginning of December. It ain't over til it's over!! My Mom is 95 and still driving to the coffee shop each day.

Kay's Mom is over 100 and still with them! She looks great from the last photo I saw of her! I do hope she is doing well now also. Kay is a very YOUNG 69! She does more and has more energy than most 40 yrs olds!!! She does not look over 40 either! IF that age. She takes great care of herself and exercises at the gym weekly. I know that if I went to the gym, they would most likely take me out on a stretcher!!!

70 isn't either, although I must admit it sounds awful. Especially when the word "bejaard" (elderly)is used in newspapers whenever someone over 65 is robbed, fallen down a ladder, or whatever.

Kay, You are only as old as you feel! Not counting today, you are usually very chipper and full of spunk! I think you just slept wrong last night! You look 20 yrs younger than I do and I just turned 65! Don't fall apart on us today!!!!! Hope you feel better tomorrow so you can enjoy the visit with your daughter! KAY will let you know i turn 70 if a few weeks i hope it is not the end i have too much stuff in my sewing room to use yet i have to keep going to 150 and i may have to amend that at a later date...lol...soozie

Of course 69 is not the end. I will turn 69 in 10 days and plan on going for a long long time. Juanita
