Well, today was supposed to be the settlement of our house sale. It fell through. You can't imagine how bummed I am right now. Sorry, just needed an ear (or is it a shoulder ?) at the moment. Thanks for "listening".

Hugs. Deb

I am so sorry. You have both my ear and my shoulder. Bummer to be back to square one when it is so tough to sell property now.

The housing market is in such a slump right now, selling one, especially at fair value, is most difficult. I understand your disappointment at the sale of yours not going through. Hopefully, someone else will buy it soon!! Fingers crossed for you!

Angel

Winter is one of the worst times to sell. Will hope a better offer will come along for you or the folks will change their minds.

So sorry to hear this. I dont know where you are but selling property is not easy. I have had my late mothers bungalow for sale for 18 months :( It must be more than frustrating for this to happen at the last minute.

Sorry to hear that, when you think you got it ready and it falls through that is worse than it just sitting. Hope you find another buyer soon. 1 house on our street sat for 2 solid years empty and sold for 1/3 the value finally. It sold for $6,000 more than we paid for ours 32 years ago! One around the corner has been for sale for over 2 years but has renters in it for now. Good luck! Debra

That seems amazing, Debra. Was the house around the corner really run down or surrounded by close neighbours noone wants to be near, maybe?

Oh, my, that's terrible, Debra. But it is the same around us. Beautiful houses just sitting or the owners have walked away from... what a mess! Hugs, Deb

That would be a huge disappointment. Hopefully the sale will go through in the end if it was just a financial situation. Maybe they'll go to another company to get what they need. Here the market seems quite fast at present and there is also lots of competition for houses to rent, so it's probably a general financial low situation. May it soon ease for your sake.

Deb, I am so sorry to hear that - it is never easy to sell your home - as it is - let along to think you have a buyer and then the sale falls through. Wishing you the best buyer soon.
