It happened again... TavernMaker CLOSED
We are sorry to announce that we had to close our site for this month (Luckily only few days...) due to a too high download trafic. This time, however, it was not caused by too much interest in our site, but by people ignoring our wishes and useing "download-robot" software to copy the whole site. Every so often, such software malfunctions and keeps downloading the same file over and over and over again causing GBs of download trafic with a minimum file within minutes. Luckily we discoverd this today before extra costs where caused (we are few MBs below our monthly limit), but we have to close our site for this month now.

Thank you for advising us! I don't use any such software and when I download designs it's always one at a time. By the way, I have all your beautiful designs (or almost all of them). Hugs, Lidia

the address we have/had on our homepage is one of our working addresses. We were/are on holiday until the 3rd January, so we can only check then. But now we have a reason to look forward to starting with the job again!!

I am so sorry to hear this. Not that I download designs but I know that you work hard out of the goodness of your heart to give your lovely designs away. This is infuriating. I am fairly sure the average embroiderer does not employ robots to download designs. I would assume that the person who has done this has some illegal intention. These Robots make life on the internet difficult for everyone. I have them spamming my community site. hacking an using my email to send spam. It is non stop battle against them. Do you have a capcha code on the download page? Not that that is 100% safe because some robots can get around the capcha too. I really hope that you can find a way to stop this from happening again. It is just rude.
