I have wanted one since It came out. I have 2 BabyLocks as well as a Singer and would give up all 3 to be able to get the Ellismo Gold version! It walks, talks and even sings and waltzes compared to the older models! You are very lucky to have a husband that cares enough to get you such a wonderful machine! I would say that he is a keeper!!! With 35 yrs behind you, seems like both of you did something right to begin with!

Lucky Lady - Hmmmm I have my 48th anniversary coming up in February - do you think my DH will take this as a hint if I forward over to him. I have been looking at this machine for a while, and just can't justify it for me, since I do have two machines - but none with the big, big hoops.
