I feel like my arms have been cut off. Can't wait to get my sewing machine back!

Only 2 more weeks to wait - I have been without my Husqvarna since 20th December - going through withdrawals.

Oh! well, there's nothing I can do but....

GO SHOPPING!

Lots of love and blessings to you all Chris

P.S. I'm taking Mum out today and we are going to get all the birthday presents for January/February. Well, someone's gotta do it!

That's a long time to wait, Chris. I guess your machine does enjoy the rest after the Christmas rush though. May it return to you full of enthusiasm!

It is a long time, but not as long as Meg had to wait. I hope it will be back as good as ever. Love Chris

Great description of withdrawal from your embroidery machine. I love it!! I am totally addicted myself so I can certainly understand. Perhaps you should drop by to visit it in the shop to make you feel better. :)

After going shopping you can start to get new projects picked out and ready for when you get your machine back. The time will go fast and you will be ready to get started on new projects the day you pick it up.

Well, I've already got my colours for my Annual Ladies Christmas lunch - it's going to be black and silver again. I did it a few years back and it looked stunning! Love Chris

I don't know about fun - but it sure made my feet ache! ha ha ha! And to top it off we were over 3 hours at Kotara Fair and had to pay $5.00 for parking. The first 3 hours is free! Love Chris

I really feel for you Chris!!! I went through that every Christmas since I got my Hus/Vikng. And about the last week of Nov 2010 my Wonderful DH bought me a Brother that does so much more than the Hus I had, so now I have 2 emb machines. This past Christmas 2011, was the first Christmas that machine stayed home! Hahaha! Go figure. Hugs, Judy

I almost know how you feel..mine was away for 2 1/2 weeks...and I had an "empty room" feeling every day Ms. Magic...(that's what my g'son and I named her...)was at the Machine Doctor! So I knitted and watched some old movies too! Now she's home and I need to get into her room and sew up the stuff that had to wait!

Now that sounds a great alternative to waiting for the machine. I might go and watch some old movies myself - I have FOXTEL and love all the oldies. Love Chris

WASH YOUR MOUTH OUT WITH SOAP WOMAN!!! THAT'S A DIRTY WORD - HOUSEWORK IS FOR THE DOGS. Only joking of course, Trevor does the vacuuming for me and I clean the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and do the ironing etc. Love Chris

I hope so too Kay - it seems funny not having any sewing to do! I have a pile of repairs sitting here in my sewing room just waiting for the return of it! Love Chris

I know how you are feeling ,my Diamond embroidery arm is playing up .The calibration message won't disappear after it has calibrated ,therefore can not attach the hoop to embroider. The Xmas presents will be ready at Easter at this rate .Dealer doesn't open till next Monday.
It spent a couple of weeks in the shop in Nov then we got a bad flu or something .
To make things worse the parcelman just delivered a roll of WSS stabiliser from Weidner .

I'm so sorry to read that yours is playing up too! These machines are such touchy little things aren't they? Love Chris
by mrskiki 03 Jan 2012
On some other groups for HV machines I read that all must be level. Try making sure your machine and the embroidery arm are sitting level. The arm has adjustable feet just for that purpose. It's worth a try anyway! Good luck. Nan W
