Need some advise/tips; recently I downloaded the Music font from one of our cuties :-) I have been testing to sew the name "Ronald" (my husband). But how do you get the letters join properly ? The first 2 (R and O) was more or less possible, 'cos it fitted in the same hoop. Then I had to take the test-fabric out for the folling letter(s). But what a hassle. (too low,too far,..) Any help is welcome.

I used the R for Reagon, and then just wrote out the rest of the name with a different font with I did a duvet cover and shams for a friend. Linda

I forgot to mention this fits the 5x7 hoop, not sure what to do if 4x4 is all you have. Linda

Sorry Linda. I think for this you need this little cross-marks like for the splitted designs (and this is the same kind of design) so you have a point where to start at the next hooping. Never did something like this but here are so many cuties with big frames. Hopefully one has a btter idea :o)

I normally just use the "monogram" type font for the first letter in the person's name, then use another plainer font for the rest of the name. Same as Linda has shown. Always looks good.
