LAUGH FOR THE DAY! I kept thinking of Meg when this happened to me today. No sickness, just my darn sewing machine!
To start, I thought you can't keep a good woman down. I think most of you know my Husqvarna Designer 1 is in getting repaired, but can't get it till after the 16th January. So I got my Overlocker out and made an Apron from The DIY Dish company - link later, but I had to have a sewing machine to do around the edge and sew a zig-zag around the bias binding. So, out came the old Husqvarna Maroon 2000SL - which I've had since the 70's. I was going great guns, then changed the stitch length and oops something went wrong. It kept sewing backwards, so not one to be beaten I turned the sewing machine around and sewed from the back! Talk about funny, you should have seen me - I hope you're laughing by now, as I was!
Anyway, it's not finished, because I can't do the zig-zag perfecty, so I'll have to wait till Amy gets back from her holiday and I'll use my old Husqvarna Quilter that I gave her. I'll do the flower attachment then.
Just thought you could do with a laugh!!!!
