Think it might be a day of sitting in the car as we have had a storm since tea time and they say the rain will continue tomorrow and it is going to be windy as well. Make sure I take my plastic.

I love these!!! I've never made a towel topper but love the shape of these, did you make them in the hoop?

by mi30kaja 07 Jan 2012
No, I made a template for the shape of the top. I pencil out the shape onto the fabric and then embroider a design. Cut our a plain piece for the back. Sew them together then sew onto the towel.

wow these are beautiful towel holders. I'm wondering did you sew towels to the tops or do they hang loosely behind hanger? I'm new to making towel toppers, i have a few embroidered towel toppers but have an elastic strip on back for towel to hang from.

Lovely! I have a few pieces of Blue Willow. I have a
set of Blue Quail English dinnerware I inherited from MIL. These would look nice with it also. Such a
clean look. Question are these half dishtowels that
you are using? These are an inspiration to get the
creative juices flowing. olds/Maureen
