Just wanted to share this with you. Yesterday at the Cricket here in Australia. Aust v India it was Jane Mc Grath Day. Jane Mc Grath was a beautiful English Lady who was married to another Australian Cricketer - Glen. Jane developed Breast Cancer and sadly passed away. Every year now they have a Jane Mc Grath Day. Every one dresses in pink. The stumps are pink. This is a pic of Brett Lee who is also an Australian Cricketer. He even had pink shoes and his son also had pink hair. Who said Men cant wear pink. There in now a Jane McGrath Breast Cancer Foundation. RIP Jane.

He apparently is a really nice guy. Sadly he doesn't play in the A team very much any more. Think he is a little worried that the pink will not wash out for a week or so.

The sweeping views of the stands in between the cricket action made for some stunningly pretty scenes with all the pink in the crowds.

Glenn and Jane created a wonderful foundation six years before Jane's death ............
In 2002 the McGraths founded the McGrath Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to raising money to fund more Breast Care Nurses in rural and regional Australia and educate young women to become 'breast aware'. Glenn has continued the work of Jane in her memory. The foundation has so far raised over $12 million[21] and as at the start of 2012 currently has 68 Breast Care Nurses with another 3 positions funded and awaiting placement.... (copied from Wikipedia).

I miss the excitement of watching Glenn bowl but the new lads coming on are producing some riveting moments and they are proving that they can bat as well.

That is a beautiful grandstand and remembrance of her wonderful work. I think Brett Lee wears pink handsomely.
