Well I survived the Holidays, but I'm sure glad they are over. Now I'm catching up on special orders.

We have a new addition to the family. We traveled 12 hours round trip from Minnesota, across Wisconsin, and Half way across Michigan to get him. We had winter storm watches for lake affect snow and the roads were terrible, but we made it home safe.

His name is "Butch" and he is a Mini Schnauzer and is only 8-1/2 weeks old. We just love him. I wanted one for a long time but finding just the right one took some time. Being I now work from home, I have time to spend with him. I will try to post a photo.

What an adorable sweet face! I do hope that you know at that age, they change daily! After he gets to know his limits with you , he will try your patience alot! That is when they are at their cutest! My Female Pekineses that I adopted in 2007 was a bit scared when she landed in her 2nd home (with me) in just a month after I got her.

The move to be closer to my son had been planned for some months but I could not take the chance of losing this beautiful little girl so I went and got her in the middle of packing to move. her human Mommy passed away and the family did not want her or her real mommy so aff they went to AmyzArk in Tn, I fell in love withher the minute I saw her. She was tiny and so scared after losing her family and then making her second move with me. Fortunately, I had an older Pekingese that had been with me since the minute she was born and she was a very calm and loving girl that got the baby to settle down and make herself at home. We lost the older Peke in Aug of 2010 to cancer but my little stinker is just as calm and sweet now as her mentor. Patty is rotten to the core and I would not have it any other way but she is now older, very gentle and loving but still loves to have alot of fun! She is soooo trusting of everyone unlike when I first brought her home. She does rule the house with the Foster Min-Pin I acquired just 3 days after ny other Pekingese left us but they play well together and have from the minute they met. The Min-Pin is older and had little children in her family but they lost their home and could not keep her. She belongs to my step grand daughter and her boys. They are alot of joy to have around!
That little face looks so innocent! Don't let it fool you! They are very curious and the only way they learn it to try everything! Have fun and enjoy! You should have a very happy home with him in it!

her Mommy so they ended up in a foster home. It has been a wonderful experience to have another Pekingese in the family! Enjoy your new family member! He should be a joy to have around although he will try your patience at times trying to find his bounderies. Love is all it takes to have a well adjusted canine in the house! They are usually very quick to learn if you have patience with them. I have been in canine rescue for years and have seen some sad little creatures bound back to a very happy life! I have also had some of the sweetest babies just walk through my door and you just know that they have had a good life from day one. Good luck and Thank you for caring enough to love one of our canine babies! This IS a beautiful boy! He already looks at home standing between those legs wanting to be loved!

He is the cutest little thing. My baby, who will be one year old on the 19th of Jan. was also so small, but I had to pull out all stops to train him, because he is so spoilt, and very much loved. I just know that Butch is going to bring you lots of love and entertainment. You managed to take a beautiful photo of him.

What a sweetheart! Schnauzers are great dogs. My daddy had two of them and they were cherished family members. Butch looks like he's going to be a real character. There's pure love in those eyes.
